I was ordering my cats raw food online this evening  and called the company to check and see if the product was in stock, I was telling the employee about Simon's granuloma problem and he suggested Bee Pollen.
Has anyone ever heard about that as a treatment for allergies? Or has anyone tried it with any success? Here is a link to one pf their pages on the topic.

He was telling me that this treatment may help for environmental allergies if that is what Simon has, and suggested I try this if the food trial is of no help to Simon. I found this to be an interesting alternative, but wonder how safe it is and if anyone has heard of this.

Here's my take on it.  I live in an area where PEOPLE have lots of allergy issues (from pollen).  We have been told for years to eat honey, grown locally, to help ease those kind of allergies.  Only locally grown honey will help.  So, based on that, if Simon was sneezing a lot during certain seasons, and you were able to obtain bee pollen from bees local to your area, then I would think it might help.  But Simon's case is completely different.  He's not sneezing, etc.    So now you come down to maybe it would work and maybe it wouldn't.  I would simply give my Vet a call, see if there's any reason NOT to try it, and if they said "why not", then give it a shot.

I used bee pollen years ago as a natural health supplement to detoxify and clean out the system every now and then, but I have not heard of it being used for allergies.

I would think Bee Pollen could definitely be beneficial for cats and dogs as it is full of lots of goodness in the form of naturally occurring vitamins, amino acids, minerals and enzymes. I used to get my bee pollen in granular bulk form from a health food store. If and when you source this, you will want to ask for pure organic bee pollen that does not contain any fillers - like vitamins, some products do as I found out when I was buying it.

Well I suppose it couldn't hurt to look into it for the little guy. Thank you for the feed back. Just wanted to make sure it would be safe for him to take in the first place.

Thanks everyone.
