Going to the gym this morning, hopefully my friend will be interested.

Just got the news that a friend's father in law died last night, so could we have some positive thoughts for the family?

Kellye, I don't know how to break this to you but, today is TUESDAY. The last thing, that anyone needs, is two Mondays, in one week

Its really cool today, last night there was frost on the windsheild. I had a printing job to take into Staples, and while I was waiting for that to be done, I went shopping for a "few" things for fall. I could have gone home, but shopping was more fun. I got a couple pair of cords, the really fine wale kind, one dark tan, one deep blue/green. A tan heather ribbed turtleneck to go with the pants. A black ribbed turtleneck to go with everything else. A pretty black sweater set, with applique and beading in purples to wear with my new purple suede skirt - sleeveless turtleneck with a cardigan. A lovely lined skirt in fall colours, with another sweater set in deep rust. I love these sleeveless turtlenecks, they seem so retro.

Its a good thing I didn't have a lot more printing to do, my bank account would not have been able to stand it. Now I have to decide what to wear today.

Oh, and I probably need new shoes or boots for these new clothes. Don't you think I do?

For sure, Sammie - one ALWAYS needs new shoes and/or boots. I tend to go for great boots, with high heels, myself.

I woke up this morning thinking it was Saturday. Where did Tuesday - Friday go? I really don't want to be here today. I am fighting of an upper repiratory infection so I didn't sleep well last night.

I don't think I have actually lost weight per say, but I am fitting into a pair of pants I haven't fit into for a while. I think I am reshaping right now more then weight loss.

Got an e-mail from Bundylee with pics of Tatyana - a pregnant Tatyana. She is due for her 1st litter on November 17th. She is beautiful and will make a lovely momma!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

We had fun last night - went to a Humane Society benefit called 'Paws on the Patio'. A local restaurant served a gourmet doggie meal (and a human meal for the people) to people & their dogs out on the patio, to benefit the Humane Society. It was a lot of fun, and the dogs loved it - they had a doggie biscuit salad with some yummy gravy, a shank goulash main course, and a yogurt-peanut butter pupsicle for dessert! Our fajitas were yummy, too. It was amazing...there were a LOT of dogs & people there, but everything seemed to run smoothly - I hope they raised a lot of

.

Not much going on so far today, though. How about you?

Well this is confusing. We have a Monday thread and a Tuesday thread for the same day! Oh well!

Three more days (counting today) and I can get away for the weekend Fri-Mon. My sister, b-i-l and myself are going to Minneapolis. My Mom's sisters (three of them) live there and we are going for a visit. My Mom passed away in 1980, so visiting her sisters is like having her back for a little while.

One sister looks just like my Mom and another sister has her exact personality. If you closed your eyes, you would think it was my Mom talking. She also has the same quirks, which my sister and I think are funny. We have the strongest connection with her and I can't wait to spend time with her this weekend. She is my role model, because she has RA (just like I do) and was in a horrible car crash, which resulted in a broken leg (which was not set correctly) and her foot is sideways. Yet last year she painted the whole outside of her house. She will not be bowed down by RA or anything - she is the strongest woman mentally that I know. I admire her so much!

Robyn is going to take care of Max this weekend and she is actually looking forward to it. I'm so glad I can go away and not worry about Max.

Today is much better than yesterday. I feel 100% better & after reading this thread, I'm in the mood for shopping!

I really need to get some new shoes for work. I'm thinking about buying a brown pair & a black pair...not sure exactly what I'm looking for exactly though. I'm also heading out to check out the prices of washers & dryers. I really hate having to go to the laundry mat everytime I need clothes washed, plus there's ALOT of weird people that hang out at those places!

Only bad thing about getting a washer & dryer is having to find a new spot for the litter boxes. Right now it's perfect because they're semi hidden in a little room and no one knows their there. Oh well, I can live with out hiding the boxes...I don't think I can handle going to the laundry mat once or twice a week. They just creep me out!

Other than that, nothing special is happening here. Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday!!

What about those washing machines that have the dryer above so there is more space?

That's what I wanted, but in the laundry room the hook ups for each are on the opposite sides of each other.

So, I have no choice but to put the washer on the West side & the Dryer on the East side of the room. I'm betting I'll still have room to put the boxes in between them, but I'll have to be careful not to drop any clothes or they'd land right in the litter box!

Do what I do with the litter boxes - get covered ones! The cats love the privacy!

I've never had a covered one before & I don't know if they'd like it. I guess I could try it. Only bad thing is with Echo being extra large, I'd have to get one fairly big so she doesn't get stuck!

Luckily, she's slowly losing some of that pudge!

I saw some extra large covered litter trays - hubby and I are considering buying a few as I am so tired of vacuuming the litter off the carpet all the time

I successfully joined my friend up at the gym - and in return they gave me an extra month free on my membership! Woohoo! And I am also in the draw to win a vacation on a cruise!

I am going to fill out insurance papers

then I am going shopping for fall clothes and grocery shopping. Not a very exciting day!

While I'm out shopping this afternoon, I'll stop by Petco & see what they've got. I've already checked out Petsmart & they don't have much kitty stuff at their place. The Petco that near by is HUGE, so I'm sure I can kill a couple hours in there!

I'm a bit confused by two daily threads today! I'm having a hard enough time keeping track what day it is since I've been off work!

Shell, my corner litter box is pretty big. And the cats seem to like it.

I need to start winterizing my house/windows today. This house is a draft master.
