My 4 1/2 year old kitty has liver cancer. The doctor thinks surgery could cure her cancer but surgery will be 5,000+. If anyone has any ideas or advice on how to raise money, please let me know! Thank you!

I created a donation site if anyone wants to check it out.

Obviously, if you have facebook, be sure to let everyone know about this, and, of course, ask all your friends and relatives and even co-workers if they will donate.  Also, do you know about Care Credit?  http://www.carecredit.com/?dtc=N354&Exact=carecredit   Most Vets accept this, and it's my understanding there is no interest for the first year (don't quote me on that as I've never used it, but I think that's what people have said)  Since he's being seen at the University, are they willing to do the surgery for less, since funds are short?  I thought usually University's would do that since they are learning hospitals...I would definitely discuss that.

And I see you are already getting lots of donations!
How wonderful!!!!!  Booty is so cute
My thoughts and prayers are will him

Thank you for your response! I definitely got it on Facebook, I'm trying to have everyone possible repost it. The care credit is no interest for how ever many months the facility allows, at NC state it is 6 months and then 24% after. I certainly don't think I will get the whole amount so whatever I don't get, we will definitely apply for the care credit. Also, believe it or not, they are more expensive because they have everyone certified in everything possible and are 'the best of the best' and they require payment PRIOR to surgery! So stressful.
