My male cat had an upper respiratory infection about a month ago that has resolved. I noticed he keeps sneezing and coughing though. Sometimes it sounds like he's so congested he has difficulty breathing through his nose. Doctor said his lungs are clear. Are there any nasal aspirators for cats? I just feel like if I could clear his nose out he'd be fine. Any suggestions?

You can actually try using a baby aspirator on him Iif he'll let you
)  Is it possible he has allergies?   Didi you discuss that with his Vet?  Or Feline Herpes?  Didn't your Vet give you any suggestions as to what to do.  With allergies many people actually give their cats human allergy pills, although you should discuss what kind and the amount with your Vet (Zyrtec is the most common one, I believe), and for Herpes, I know L-Lysine added to their food has been know to be very helpful.

Thanks for replying. I haven't asked about allergies but like I said she (the vet) gave him a checkup after his uri and said everything was fine. He (my cat Lincoln) is still sneezing and it's usually clear but sometimes it isn't. I was wondering if maybe he has a sinus infection? I'm kinda strapped for cash this week so I'll have to wait till next Friday to get him back to the vet. I adopted him thru the humane society and he was already sick. I feel bad for him. If there are any ideas or possible remedies out there please by all means let me know. I really appreciate the input.

I would go back to the vet for a re-check just to be sure it's not anything more than allergies.  The coughing would indicate something else going on.  He may need another round of antibiotics, which is common.
