Hey guys, notices many people of this forum are food lovers like me so i'm sure you all have at least one awesome recipe. You can share your dinner or desserts here, and would love to see your sauce recipes too, all things food is appreciated feel free to put up your food pics too hehe
i'll start by giving my "recipe" for my favourite food right now, quesadillas, i say this in quotes because you can make a quesadilla anyway as long as it has tortilla and cheese. i love this recipe because it meets two criteria of food in my life right now which is cheap and quick
i use tortilla, a 4 cheese mexican blend, a jar of salsa con queso, hot peppers(i have used red and green jalapeno and also serrano peppers), and chicken
now i cut all the ingredients(not the cheese blend and the sauce!) in to appropriate bite sized piece and deseed the peppers
I melt copious amounts(i'd say 1 tbs) margarine or however you spell that over medium low to low heat in a large skillet and place the the tortilla in the skillet.
I also put the chopped peppers in the skillet too for a little while to soften them up a little!
Then i spoon enough salsa con queso on the tortilla to be able to spread it all over but not enough to create queso mountains
Then i place the bits of chicken on one side of thetortilla along with the pepper pieces and cheese blend and fold the tortilla in half.
Let the tortilla cook in the skillet until it gets nicely crunchy and browned, try not to flip it too much this seems to make the quesadilla want to lose its innards!
