New to this; New to all of You

I hope I'm doing this right. Having a hard time trying to post, in trying to answer other's posts, etc. Maybe I needed to start here first all along. Maybe after this, I can "post"? In any case, my little profile states a bit about me and my kitty-life; have 7 of the little buggers. Just LOVE cats! Always wanted one of my own. Finally, in 1982, my wish came true. Growing up, we had the family cat and dog, (and l Iove dogs too, but - you know how THAT goes - cats rule and dogs drool).....Cats are a much easier fit in my husband's & my life. They are our kids.We love em and snuggle em to death; we call it "cat maulage" - hugs and kisses and pets, and they respond in kind. They're also nuts and love to run around and spin in the air and take off in a totally different direction (you know how that goes)...so funny to watch. We love to watch them play and entertain themselves with the simpliest things - boxes, string, twist ties, milk jug rings, foil wrapper balls, etc. We also enjoy the snuggles at night. The joy and beauty of being owned by a cat. There's nothing like it

You sound like a great cat mommy. It's awesome that your husband is right there with you. Mine also loves our cats which is great because we have almost as many as you.

Anyway, lots of nice people to talk to and hope to hear more about your cat family and see some pictures, too.

Nothing's better than having a cat or two or 7 living with you! (Well, i don't know about 7, I only have 2!).
