HELP ---------

So my cat's kittens are now a week and a day old (8 days old) and the one who opened it's eye at 6 days now has his left eye closed. His left eye seems to be infected? It like dried shut with what seems to be dried discharge. Any suggestions on what to do? I read of dabbing warm tea on the eyelid and then Neosporin. His eye has been this way for 2 days and it worries me. He eats like normal and poops too. He seems healthy otherwise. His siblings still haven't opened their eyes. Here is a picture of his eye:

He kept moving around so sorry if his are is near his face.

Here he is now normally doing his kitten things:

Have you tried VERY GENTLY cleansing it with warm water?

If that doesn't work I would consider going to the vet if you are at all able.

I have tried. How frequently should I do it? I cleaned it twice today but no change. I think it softened but then dried up quickly. Maybe the room I have them in is too dry? Should I turn on the humidifier to see if it would help soften it up?

If none of the home remedies work, I will take the kitten to the vet (along with its siblings and mother).

Actually, nevermind! Haha. I tried the water once again except this time I did it for longer (10-15 minutes+) and his eye started opening. Goody! Saves me a trip to the vet! Thank you @tulosai  for your advice.

I will keep posting my kitten problems here.

Here are my almost 3 week old beauties. 4 male, 1 female. :-* i love then so much. They are big but still cry when being picked up. I think I am going to give them a bigger and more spacious box. :)
