Hello all,
My 83 year old father's 14 year old cat Abbey has just been diagnosed as diabetic. My father is in poor health and unable to give her shots twice a day. My wife and I are unable to bring her into our home - we have two older cats ourselves. Abby is also starting to urinate outside (but near) the litter box, which is in the master bathroom. We're afraid my father might slip and fall in the night.
Does anyone know of anyone or anyplace in the Denver area that would be able foster Abbey? She's a sweet cat who needs some special attention.
I have tried calling the Cat Care Society and the Denver Dumb Friends League without any success. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks very much.
Mark
