Just stopping by to say hey . . .

Hey guys. Whew, I've been so busy lately. I've doing fine, as long as I don't think about Alex. I really am doing pretty well. I go out virtually every night with one friend or another, and I've been staying active. I've been doing better in school now that I don't have to juggle watching out for Alex and wedding planning. I've lost weight (a whole size, woohoo!!). I'm less stressed now that I only worry about myself, instead of wondering if Alex will follow through on his commitments, too. So things are OK.

I still am lonely sometimes, and I do miss him. But he's been making me mad. He said he'd open a new bank account, since he works at a bank and it would be easier for him. (We have joint accounts.) He said he'd let me use the joint one as my own until I could open a new one. Well, he's still been using the joint one!!!! Grrrrr . . . this is just not cool. I'm going to go have to pull my share out of there now, which just makes things all the more complicated. It really gets me that he said he wouldn't and then he did. So, I don't know what's going to happen there.

Well, just wanted to say hi to you guys, and let you know I'm still here. I just don't have regular access to a computer like I used to, so I can't come around as often.

I think you should just pull out your share from the account and do whatever YOU need to, to take care of yourself.

Honestly, as much as I love my husband, I really miss being single sometimes. For exactly the reasons you said....don't have to worry about whether he will or won't, don't have to coordinate plans, can just be selfish (which is really nice sometimes!).

Hey viva, good to hear that you are feeling a whole lot better. I lose almost two dress size when I first broke up and those feelings will gradually go away and life will resume normal again.
as for the joint account, mine and his has not yet been closed cos we needed to find time to meet up to close it but yet he refused to meet up with me.. oh well, it ain't lots of money...so be it...

Good to hear from you Viva! Keep taking care of yourself and enjoying life being single and independent! It can be so nice to have quality time with good friends. I would definitely pull my money out of the joint account and start an individual one though just so you can be organized and not have to worry.
