Help my cat swallowed a whole claw

My 5 year old cat was making funny noises with her mouth and when I went over to check on her she had a whole claw stuck between her teeth. So I tried to help her remove it and when I dislodged it, she flicked her head in panic and I saw it fall backwards into her throat! I'm assuming she was cleaning her paw and broke one and got it stuck in her teeth but it was quite big, sharp and hooked. Should I take her to the vet? I'm worried it's going to poke or hurt her insides. I was trying to find information online since my local vet is closed as it's 9pm here but haven't had much luck.

So, while it would be ideal if you could get in touch with a vet, and while I also have never heard of this specific thing happening before and so can only offer a 'best guess' I don't think this is an emergency, and I do think that it is probably fine.  I would probably just relax and keep a  careful eye on her for a bit. My cats swallowed far crazier things in their youth and were inevitably fine

Thank you Tulosai, I'll definitely keep an eye on her. I gave her some soft food which she ate fine so I'm hoping that's a good sign at least. I've found a number to call for the vets so I'm going to try that just to be sure.
