My heart's breaking!

I fell in love with a cat that I was fostering. This is my second time ever fostering--I recently placed four beautiful kittens in happy homes!

But this cat is a love with people, and territorial with other cats. I have two elderly cats. I have tried, unsuccessfully, for four months or more to introduce and re-introduce him to my elderly cats. My oldest cat, Jordan, is NOT coping with Rodney.

He needs a good home, or a good foster space, that I can't give him without impacting on Jordan's health and state of mind. I've asked Jordan to be patient and provided her with her own territory, but I've asked of her all that she can give, and I need help!

Do you know of any good foster homes or helpful organizations? I'm not prepared to take him to a euthanasia shelter. He's still shy with people (but a total love!) and I don't think with so many cats in shelters that he'd stand a chance.

Please help!

You might try these no-kill shelters in West Virginia:

Cause for Paws, Tenino
Humane Society of North Central West Virginia

You can check for other no-kill shelters at the sticky at the top of the SOS forum.

I wish you luck!
