We took her out this morning, 10:30. After consulting with the vet, decided to go ahead and try it. Cindy did NOT like it. Some of it she was okay with, but the vet hit one spot and she meowed and tried to get away. After that she was done with acupuncture. I don't know what was wrong but the vet said that it "told her something." I meant to ask her what it told her, but after everything it went out of my mind.
I'm still on the fence with acupuncture. She did seem to perk up for a bit on the way home and ran around a little when got home. She also ate some dry food and a few treats. Now she's sleeping, but she looks more relaxed than usual. Not stretched out, but she has her front legs out crossed over each other and not in a little ball.
We also got some priobiotics call Rx Biotic and Chinese herb Quiet Digestion to try. Anyone have any experience with those. We can just put them in her food and in her feeding tube. I might start that tomorrow rather than tonight.
We have an appointment to go back for another treatment next Saturday. I was even thinking about going and getting some acupuncture myself to see what it is like. I doubt my insurance would pay for it though.
