So this is my new Persian kitten that is triple coated. The seller told me to feed him with cereal milk and royal canine , I didn't get the cat food so I used a substitute for the cat food I switched to me O I want to ask that when shall I start giving him boiled liver? Boiled eggs? :lol3:

I don't understand what you are intending to ask here for one cereal milk wouldn't be very good for your kitten. Royal canine food would be okay for a while but if its the dried stuff constant feeding of this can lead to problems later on if kitty doesn't drink enough water! Most people will tell you a good quality wet canned food diet or a raw diet would be better for this gorgeous lil guy as they are obligate carnivores and need high amounts of animal proteins and minimal grains and cereals!

Yes you could feed boiled chicken liver but this is not a complete dier you would also need to feed muscle meat chicken breast foe instance as well as kidneys and some ground egg shell for calcium serve all these together minced or chopped up and mixed together about 100g per meal should do as often as he'll eat it maybe 3-4 times a day

Is this the "weak and bony kitten" you've posted about before?  Did you ever get him a calcium source?  Milk won't provide enough calcium.

If you are planning on making his food rather than buying regular kitten food and feeding him a kitten milk that you can buy in a pet food store, then you need to thoroughly read this resource thread on how to make your own pet food:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/264153/home-cooked-cat-food-resources

This is not something you can take lightly.  If kittens, particularly, do not get enough of the calcium, liver, muscle meat that they need, their bones will not grow right and they will have severe health consequences. We're seen it here on this site before

This baby is still far too young to be away from his mother.  What happened?  Why is he being separated from her so young?

@mrsgreenjeans I believe the kitten was sold to the man at 1 month old  by a breeder! Kitten is now about 2.5 months from what I have gathered from his other threads about feeding and the kittens behavior biting scratching ect. I know theres another thread about the kitten being 'boney and weak' and he was asking what to feed it be advised several times a good quality kitten food was best but insisting on cooking food for his kitten. I believe the OP had also been asking if he could feed the cat french fries. I'm hoping the kitten hasn't been fed this.

I really don't understand what is funny here? :dk:

You asked before for advice on this kitten and were given a lot of good information, so I'm not sure why you started this thread. :dk:

Did you follow any of the advice you were given?

AbbysMom I did think this to though I did find this thread first I'm slightly concerned as the message so many people are trying to give doesn't seem to be getting across I'm no expert on nutrition still learning myself but I did try simplifying some of the stuff said down and I still don't think its really sunk in

You have been given a lot of advice about how and what to feed him already.

Is he 1.5 months old now or 2.5 months like it says in your other threads? If he is only 1.5 months old, you should start him on meat mince with a small amount of liver and egg yolk, and crushed eggshell added for calcium (6g per kg of meat). If he is 2.5 months old, you should start him immediately on the full diet that has been recommended already. Although if he is still small and weak you can start him on the mince mix until he is a little stronger, but try to get him on the full diet quickly.

The most important thing to remember is--you can't just feed him one thing all the time (unless it is a balanced cat food). He needs to have regular meat AND heart meat AND liver AND calcium (raw chicken bone or crushed eggshell), in the proper portions, or he will not be healthy.

The easiest thing would be for you to buy tinned cat food and feed that to him. I'm sure there is at least one brand available in Pakistan. If you choose to feed him homemade food, it needs to be properly balanced. Right now I'm very worried that he isn't getting enough calcium. This can make him very sick and maybe even make him die :(.

To go abit more into what available in pakistan regarding tinned cat food you could try ordering online www.zooplus.com is i believe very good price wise and amazon often have kitten food on subscribe and save. I believe its about 48 pouches of wet kitten food for £9.50 or what ever the equivilant is in your local currancy. But he does need a balanced diet and quickly or he will become sick.

I have had 8 kitties over the past 20 odd years and all have been fed dry food with plenty of bowls of water around. My blighty is still eating dry kitten food until he's a year. You can also get perfectly good wet food for kittens. That's your best option. Kitten food of either sort with plenty water of around.
