Just saying hi!

Hello!  My name is Kasey.  I joined earlier today and just wanted to give myself a little bit of an introduction!

Last June I lost my cat, Thomas, to illness after having him for 19 and a half years.  It was a tough loss.  I've been passionate about cats my whole life and I picked him out when I was only 6 years old.  He was a great childhood buddy.  August this passed year I adopted Abby, a 4 month old kitten from a local shelter... and when we realized she didn't like being on her own, quickly went back and adopted her mother Marlie too a couple of weeks later.  I started volunteering at the shelter shortly after.  I recently adopted a third there, Tatum.  She's the reason I've stumbled onto this site... she's a sweetheart but also quite a trouble maker... hah!

I'm glad you joined TCS.  Your cats look awesome, and those photos are adorable.

  I cannot wait to hear more stories about your cats.  I'm sorry for your loss of Thomas, yet 19 and a half is such a full life for a cat, but I know, it doesn't make losing them any easier.

...and yes, I have A LOT of stories to tell.  Of the three I have now, one is too smart for her own good, one isn't quite bright enough and the third is like the energizer bunny... it makes my home a very interesting place to live in.  Hah!
