On Friday afternoon my 7 year old male cat, TIger, went in to the vet and he was blocked.  He didn't have stones or crystals or anything I don't think...the vet described it as gritty.  They kept him over the weekend with a catheter in for a couple of days and I got to bring him home this afternoon.  He peed a couple of times before he came home and he peed a tiny bit a little while ago.  SInce he's gotten home all he wants to do is cuddle and is so excited to be home.  My concern is that he still hasn't had anything to eat or drink since he came home at 1pm.  He's sniffed at his food and water but hasn't had any.  Is this normal?  I'm watching him closely and will call the vet in the morning if he's still not interested but for now I'm just a bit worried :)

I would call if still isn't eating or drinking in the morning.  He could well still be stressed out by staying at the vet's.

24 hours is quite normal after any vet procedure to go without food, but more than that I would call the vet.

I think I was worried about nothing :)  I'm pretty sure he had a small snack in the middle of the night and he just ate a little bit of the wet food I put out.  He's still not super interested in eating or drinking but a little is better than nothing.  He's acting like himself in every other way though.  Getting pets and cuddles seems to be taking over his entire brain right now :)
