Just gave my cat .7 ml as directed for cat from 15ml bottle. My concern is it states mix 14ml to this bottle of water. This means it should be almost full and it is only third full. Reception gal filled it and tells me she did 14ml. Should I be worried?!

I would not give any more until you can bring the bottle back and check with someone. Bring the bottle back to the vet, tonight if they are still open, or tomorrow if they are now closed, and tell them your concerns.

Ask to speak to a tech or vet, NOT a receptionist.

Always go with your gut when it comes to doubts about medications and cats.

Let us know what you find out!

As for kitty, watch for signs of tummy upset or diarrhea. Hopefully you gave the medicine with some food, (always give clavamox with food). Remember that liquid clavamox must be kept refrigerated.

Incidentally, clavamox also comes in pill form. You might ask for that instead.

I noticed someone else has asked the same question online. I also found two bottles I had of my liquid meds in 15ml amount and can easily tell the bottle they give to you is NOT 15ml. Possibly what they are saying is it makes up to an amount of 15ml when you add the water but it's very misleading to say the bottle is 15ml when it's obviously not!
