Howdy!
Got up early, because of this daylights savings being over. Had a snuggle fest with my babies

My fingers don't want to cooperate with me today, grrrr.

Have volleyball tonight, will go to the gym this arvo. Tomorrow, I am taking a friend of mine to the gym with me to join her up as she wants to join. Looks like I may have a gym buddy - I hope!

Today is not starting out good for me. I woke up with a horrible tummy ache & then the dizziness, sweating & chills started in. Looks like the stomach flu has swung by my place for a visit & I just wish they would have gotten lost along the way.

I ended up calling in today. Don't think I could have made it. So, I'm heading back to bed pretty soon & gonna relax the day away..hopefully.

Happy Monday everyone! Kellye, have a blast at the gym! Girl, you've got more will power than I do! Keep up the great work!

Good morning all!

Apparently my cats don't understand daylight savings time. Merlin was looking for affection at 4 am - he normally waits until 5 before the intensive "get up mommy" vibe starts.

Not much happening today. Work and exercise planned for today. Some friends and I are going to the movies on Wednesday. I am trying to talk them into seeing Radio with Cuba Gooding Jr, but I think they want to see Beyond Borders with Angelina Jolie - that looks too much like a "message movie" to me.

Kellye - it would be great if you could get a workout buddy!

Shell - stay in bed, drink fluids and hug a cat and hopefully you will feel better soon!

Got a little extra time, this morning. Because of my schedule change, I go in an hour later. Forgot to reset my alarm, though.

Mark called, last night and everybody is doing well. Sam sent me new baby pix and, as soon as I get them resized, I'll post them. The twins now have nicknames: Isabel is Izzy (naturally) and Feliza is Fizzy. The kids are going to dress up the twins and send me pix.

Got the last few things done, for Halloween. For this week only, my nails are alternately orange and black, with black/orange glitter polish on top.

Hi All!

Didn't feel well this weekend and still don't feel all that great. I think the flu visited my house too Shell. I hope you feel better.

Max did not understand that we get to sleep an hour later this morning either Ady. I guess I will have to re-train him to respect that extra hour.

I'm glad you found a work out partner Kellye. The time goes so much faster if you can exercise with a friend.

Add Ivo to the list of not understanding the time change. 2:30 this morning she was tearing around my living room, and when I got up, she had taken about half her toys off the chair where I usually store them. I got revenge though-I kept on cuddling with her while getting ready (it's usually her morning nap time).

Shell and Nora, sorry to hear the flu bug found you guys. I'm hoping that since I got a flu shot it won't find me.

Kellye, have fun at the gym with your buddy.

Add Hallie to the list of early risers not understanding the time change too!

She started meowing at 5:00 am and i could hear her all the way in my room! At least it's a good sign that she's wanting to eat now!

I'm very happy! I fed Hallie when she got me up at 5 am and she ate almost all the food I gave her. She eats better if I put her food on the bed so I did that and laid next to her while she ate. She would eat for a couple minutes and then walk away. I'd have to coax her back and if I put my finger in the bowl, she'd start eating again. We went through this until she had eaten almost all of her food.

I just went back in about 9:30 and fed her again. No coaxing necessary! She burried her little face right in the bowl! I'm hoping that as she continues on eating a little more and a little more that her appetite will be more stable. Do you guys think maybe she just didn't have an appetite because she was in the habit of not eating well and has to build it back up? That's what I think (before there was a queen not letting her eat). I'm going to take her in sometime this week and weigh her again (at the vets).

The vet is really wonderful. She is a cute little girl from India. She called every day for 3 days to make sure Hallie was ok.

This morning I had to go for that CT scan of my sinuses. Next week I'll be going in for the results and to find out if I have to have surgery.

Hopefully you don't have to have surgery! I am glad Hallie is adjusting. I am sure that her appetite will increase when she gets used to not having to fight for food.

I hope so. That's why I'm keeping her isolated in the spare room for awhile. I want her to get a good start and not have the stress of all the new cats. Plus I have to keep track of her intake and output.
