uri in mama cat

Cat taken from shelter for rescue has goopy eye and 1 nostril bad. Also runny stool..Eating ok and the 

kittens are eating and appear fine so far. Giving her eye ointment antibiotic. Have Clavomox for her but

unsure if it's ok to give as shes nursing. Is it safe for the kittens? They are about 2-3 days old with dried cord still attached.....

@catwoman707 is our forumist who is extra good at such...  Another tip may be L-lysine.

I agree stress may cause runny stool, and also, outburst of uri as such.   So be sure she has it cozy, comfortable, warm, not stressed by anything unnecessary (you must of course have good access to her).   Perhaps have soft, relaxing music on... Classical harp music is best, but almost any may do.

Be sure she has good access to water.

If you have possibility to have a Feliway diffuser, it may help too with giving a calming atmosphere...
