Show Your Home Decorating Panache

I'll start with an item I just added this week:

I'll have to see what I can come up with.  My house is still a work in progress.  I've got some things for a wall in the kitchen that I need to get hung.
I'm not sure how well it's showing here.  The wall with the window has a diamond pattern painted on it using high gloss paint in the same color.  The other walls have stripes in high gloss.  It's harder to photograph but nice in real life. My husband did A LOT of work on that for me!

MoochN: LUV the color schemes! I'm a big fan of that shade pink & contrasting dark colors. Is the woodwork in maroon? My bathroom has same shade pink with grey & charcoal contrasting. Really like all your touches in the room, too!

Thank you!  The woodwork is a chocolate brown.  Her furniture now is dark too with pink and brown cupcake bedding.  I was sad to give up the baby quilt that I based her room off of!  I still have it of course; it was just so pretty. 

I was looking and I don't think I ever took finished pictures of my son's room.  It's techincally not done (and he's almost 2) because my FIL was supposed to send us pictures for some photo frames.  He does a lot of hiking and things so I was looking for pictures of things like mushrooms, acorns, and leaves to go with the "woodland" theme.  So there are 8 empty frames that I painted to match his room hanging on the wall... 

I'll have to go digging through my pictures when I have more time. Give me a poke if I don't' post some.
