I am pooped. Actually, I'm exhausted. It seems to be all I can do to drag myself out of bed this week and when I go to bed at night, I'm crashing quickly. And yet I'm so tired there are times when I can hardly stay awake. It's possible that it's just being tired from being so sick last week, but it's not good. This morning, Rick's cell alarm rang and I told him I was going to stay in bed for another hour and the heck with the treadmill. But then the cats started screaming and carrying on for their breakfast, so I knew sleep was pretty much futile. I got up and went down to the treadmill anyway.

I'm usually in bed and fast asleep by around 11 or so. A couple nights this week, I was fast asleep by around 8:00 (I even slept through Supernatural on Tuesday night and I never do that). Then one of the cats will awaken me around 3:30 (puking a hair ball, jumping into bed, using the litter box in the bedroom, etc.) and I'll lie in bed for about 45 minutes or so before I drop back off. So while I am getting sleep, it's interrupted sleep. My Fitbit shows that I'm awakening about 8 times a night, even if I don't realize it (I don't know how accurate the Fitbit is about recording sleeping patterns.).

is it just me? Is it the weather? Our continuing winter and this cold? Anybody else too pooped to function? I feel that if I could just take a 15-minute nap, I'd feel better. It's been a very long and weary week here.

:wavey::wavey::wavey: Me! Me! It's been awful lately. I got the power washer out yesterday and washed the salt and mud off of our vehicles. I wanted to take a nap after. :lol3: Going for a walk has been a struggle. I am tired and have zero motivation. :uuh: We haven't been sleeping well, so that is part of the problem.

No, it's not just you. I've been exhausted lately, between having so much to do at school and dealing with seasonal allergies (my own and Mogli's). When I'm not preparing or marking tests, I'm vacuuming or wiping pollen off everything. Not sleeping through the night isn't helping matters. One more week, and we switch to DST, which is only going to aggravate the situation.

I blame sickness here.  We've gone this far without having an entire house of sick people until this week.  3 of us have had a stomach bug with fever.  DD only had a fever.  I have never so bad wanted my Mommy to come take care of us!
She did go to the store for us yesterday after she got out of work.  I think we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel; though DH and I still have low grade fevers.  i slept lick suck a rock last night I woke up stiff.  But it was soooo good to sleep!!

Funny response.  LOL

Nope, you're not alone--I've been sleeping in an extra HOUR the past three mornings, very unusual for me.  I've been sick twice this winter with the gunk that was going around.  Now it's pollen allergies--spring came early here and everything is starting to get covered in acacia pollen, ugh.  Plus we've had some business and other stressors, so I guess the combo is taking its toll.

But there's a light at the end of the tunnel with the business stuff, and I'm back to using my Neti pot every night to help with the pollen, so--I'm going to try to have a restful weekend and hoping to be good as new soon!

The daylight savings time change always kicks my butt for a couple of weeks. I am not a morning person to begin with...

My gosh I hope so!!!  I have tears running down my face.
I really don't remember whether I was on the kindle or my desktop!  Let's blame the kindle and the sickness!
Tears rolling down my face too, sorry!   The 'lick suck a rock' post has to be one of the funniest I've read in a long time!   Very educational thread too, what with Fitbits and Neti pots!

Just starting to get my energy back after the cold virus I had the other week.  Am on 'holiday' this week but if I hadn't been I think I might just have kielded over I was so exhausted at the start of the week.

I'm still laughing!  Aren't you all glad I didn't come posting too much yesterday?
No, quite the opposite....LOL....but it may have been all banned, anyhow....LOL.

Oh, since I found you here  @MoochNNoodles, I know you cannot do anything much right now in being sick and all, but how come you never entered any of your "famous drawings" in the March Drawing Cats contest.  I thought for sure I would see one of your quick famous entries, like on the babble thread???

Is it just too time consuming, to draw???

take care, and get well fast.   LOL.....keep posting....with or without the kindle...lol

I know exactly how you feel. I feel my body screaming every morning when I put my feet on the floor. I think a lot of mine is mental exhaustion. I have had a lot going on trying to help my sister since her daughter's illness. I also have been working every day trying to get tax stuff together for the CPA. He has it now as of Wednesday, and the ball is in his court.:lol3:

The weather near me can't decide if it is winter or spring yet.  I get migraines from the barometric pressure changes.  Today was probably the 2nd day in the last 2 weeks that I had no headache at all.  I was totally exhausted though today.  It was my day off and I slept until late afternoon.  I usually wake up when hubby leaves for work and eat breakfast.  I barely even remembered him waking up for work.  I had a nice relaxing evening of karaoke with the hubby and some friends.  Hopefully I will have more energy on Saturday since my plans to do some light cleaning on Friday did not happen.  I am off work until Sunday so I still have one more day to relax if I need it.

You made me snort my coffee this morning!
I haven't laughed like this is quite a while and it was worth every chuckle as I was cleaning coffee from my desk. Thanks so much!

Mooch, I'm not sure if we want you to feel better! That was hilarious!
