My cat carried in a small mouse. All she did was bat it around and play with it, then we made her take it outside. She ended up finally bringing it in, dead, and leaving it, and my other cat started eating it, I let her, a little, then took it away, scared of disease or mouse posion(I lost a cat like that), was I unreasonable to take it away?

If your cat had eaten it, and it had not died by what your cat did, but by poison, you could have put your cat in danger of toxicity reaction or even death (depending on what poison was used to kill the mouse) Also eating it does open them up to tapeworms so you were correct in getting rid of it. Chances are, your cat found it out in the field, for this is the time of year when mice are pretty thick.
