First time cat pregnancy no idea what to expect?

My cat mated some time from the 16th-18th January which would mean she would be due but there are zero signs of labour should I be worried??

my cat had her litter today while we all slept through.there was zero sign of labor.what she had been doing for a week or two was going from room to room and getting very clingy with me or my sister.hence sometimes (like in my cats case) they dnt show the usual signs of labor and just have babies one fine day!

Yeah she's in the box now she's been in and out all day,, it's so exciting but scary aswell I just hope everything goes orite!

So my kitty cat Luna is 63days today and still no sign of her baby's.. But when I woke this morning her stomach seems to have dissapeard!! Is this normal?? She hasn't gave birth yet I checked! Any advice would be welcomed x

Tummy being lesser about one or two days before delivery is normal!  Its because the kittens go down into their birthing positions.   Give her massage / pet on her tummy, if she wants / allows it.

Unless you mean, it disappeared almost entirely, which would probably be, she deliviered them somewhere during the night, and either hide them well - or if they were stillborn, did ate  up them, so not to reveal any traces...

The manuals tells about pregnancy of 63-65 days.  I do have the distinct impression it should be 65-68 days - most of our forumites seems to wait and wait

Also, kittens tend to manage badly premature deliveries, unlike humans.

But unlike humans, they seem to manage OK somewhat prolonged pregnancy.  

So, be happy if you must wait, dont be too happy with "didnt needed to wait for so long, she had a n early delivery"

No she still has a little bump it's just not as big as it was yesterday,, nd I no for sure she hasn't gave birth she was in my bed all last night loves a snuggle she does.. I felt her babies move this morning too so that's good news!! I love this site Iv had so many of my worries answered.. Thank you for the advice x

Congratulations that sticky patch sounds like the mucus plug coming away. This is one of the first signs of labour starting. She should give birth to the kittens anytime within the next 24 hours

Oh wow how exciting!! It only a little bit but fingers crossed it goes over quickly for her thank you x

Just a little update woke up this morning to what can only be described as Luna's plug?! Her stomach has completely changed shape and is solid!! So hopefully won't be long for her she's getting really uncomfy poor thing x

So Luna is insisting on sleeping with an item of my clothing,, is this just some sort of comfort thing for her?? X

My cat just had her one kitten and she was crawling in my shirt and on my bed she relaxed after I put my sweater by her and within a few hours she had her kitten she fells safe around you so try a sweater or something you won't miss

It's just and old jumper I don't mind as long as she's happy

Strange second nipple?? Has anyone ever seen this before?? Is has only appeared during her last couple of weeks?!!

So I'm guessing I was wrong about Luna's dates she actually 64days today not last week so hopefully anyday now

Who else is still waiting??? I can't believe Luna still hasn't had her kittens yet!! It's killing me lol x
