This is my newest cat, named Whisper. :)

I apologize for the crappy lighting.

This cat is silver and grey  with arrowhead like spots and stripes on tops and sides of body. Pale silver on the belly with round spots.  Silver ticking at hair tips all over. Yellow eyes.

Fur is short, feels thick, almost as if he has a double coat.  he may just have thick fur.

Sweet personality, talkative, a little rough with play. and can really jump high after the feathered cat toy.

Whisper's back.

It took several shots just to get the top picture of his face. ;/ Thank God for digital cameras. ;-)

Thanks for the help, and again, sorry for the poor light quality of these images.

Whisper is in quarenteen until he gets checked by the vet and before he gets introduced to the rest of the cat population.

What a gorgeous boy :rbheart:

His colour is a blue mackerel tabby ( blue means grey in cat genetics )

As for his breed he is a very stunning and beautiful domestic short hair :D

Yes, the same word as the fish renown for its stripes.

The other common tabby are called for classic, these with this round bulls eye on their flank.

And so we do have broken mackerel (which can look almost as spots, esp on tummy,)

And even some few who ARE spotted tabby...

The M on their forehead reveals them all.    :)

Whisper is a lovely, sleek looking mackeral tabby, and he is blue / grey even more beautiful in my eyes!   I would love to have a blue / silver tabby!

The lighting in which I took these images wasn't the best. It didn't do justice.
Thank you for the compliment.:-)
