Since were on the verge of kitten season, I've seen most members pretty much say lately, that if there is a possibility they could've been around intact males while in heat/season, then they are for sure pregnant.

I personally see a bit of pinking up in both pictures for the nipples, so I'd say yes, she's pregnant.

I think going to the vet might be a good option, they can help with prenatal care or if you don't want kittens/can't afford to have more cats, you could talk to the vet about spaying the female and aborting the kittens?

Either way, hope you can make the right decision :3 (also hope I gave the right advice lol, kinda just repeating what I've seen other members post)

For me they seem rather normal.   The pink is called in sweden for  rasp-berry pink (not hinderberry as I wrote somewhere)

So it is a quite intensive red - pink color...

Wait a couple of days more....

Although some cats dont change color as intensively as some others, so this sign works just IF the color change occurs.

No change is no safe sign.

Good luck!

Hi,

It sounds quite likely that she is pregnant, i assume she has been going outside?  The best thing to do is probably take her to a vet for an exam, he/she can tell you for sure is she's pregnant.  As to her giving birth when you're away, it depends how far along she is.  Gestation period is about 66 days.  Will someone be watching her while you're gone?

You may also want to post in the pregnant cat forum at http://www.thecatsite.com/f/36/pregnant-cats-and-kitten-care

Yes, if she is allowed outside she is almost definitely pregnant.  Norma gestation period is 9 weeks, so about 63-65 or 66 days like StephenQ says.

Honestly, it is very possible that you will miss the birth. Is there any way that you can arrange for at least someone to stay with her during that time? If there are complications, or she delivers early, or somethine else bad happens, it would really be best if someone were there to get her to a vet.

that's really good that you're wanting to make sure your girl has the nutrition and amount of food she needs during her pregnancy and while she's nursing her kittens!

canned kitten food is good to feed a pregnant cat. others here have posted about how good royal canin's babycat canned food is. this (or another canned kitten food) could be served to your girl while she's pregnant, then when the kittens are old enough they can start eating canned cat food/solid food with the babycat canned food. if your girl doesn't like the canned kitten food, you could mix a little of it into her favorite canned cat food.

while your girl is pregnant and then nursing her kittens, she should be able to eat as much as she'd like to.
