I need to re-home my two beautiful 6 year old indoor cats

Welcome. First of all, this is an international forum. Unfortunately it is very unlikely that you will be able to find anyone here to take your cats.
If you don't mind my asking, why do you need to rehome them? It is possible that if you talk to us in more detail about the issues you are having in keeping them, we'd be able to help you find a way to do so. Their best chance at a happy and healthy life really probably is to stay with you. You have to understand that very very few people want adult cats, and that the chances of them staying together are extremely minimal. You are going to likely have a very hard time rehoming them, especially if your preference is to rehome them together.
That said, good places to start trying to place cats are vets offices and craigslist. Always charge a small fee to weed out people who might be looking to use the cats for bad purposes or who are not serious about owning a cat.

I would avoid Craigslist unless you plan to do a home visit. In lieu of a fee, I would demand a reference from a local veterinarian, which you will call and verify, and a home visit and I would also take a picture of the adopter and take it to the local shelters and make sure this person is not on any of their do not adopt lists. And I would talk to their neighbors too.
This is the best way to avoid people selling animals to science labs for experimentation (yes, people do this to pets adopted via Craigslist and yes, it is LEGAL.)
Or... you can contact your local humane society and see if they would be willing to post a listing for your cats for you, or let you foster them for the shelter, while they find adopters. Another possibility is a local cat rescue. I don't know where you're located, so I can't help you find such things, but I'm sure there has to be one nearby.

don't give them to people who seem too good to be truth without checking everything throughly. people are really sick and mean and would take cats just to torture them.
