My cat elmo is nearing the end of her term. Her temp is 37.7 tonight.  her tummy seems to be almost dragging and way twards her back legs. Im wondering , they say when a cats temp drops to under 100 that there 24-48 hours away from delivering?? anyone have any thoughts?

You might want to stick with the same degree measurements, just so it's not confusing! But that's besides the point, do you know what her original temperature is? I'm very close with a cat breeder and with her last liter, the mom's original temperature was 102.5 and she had her kittens at about 101! Dropping below 100 is in general, but it also varies with the cat!

My comment is you dont overdo the measuring of temp, unless you use some noninvasive  method, like measuring under the foreleg or with such modern instant ear-termometer...   It is often unnecessary stress on her (and on you)

They will come when they come, dont stress her with measuring in the behind, unless you MUST know exaclty when...

Good luck!
