Very cute kitties, how could we resist having Charlie here with us?!
Looks really interesting, like blue orange white torbie colouring and very pretty.  Charlie can be our little Scottish Fold holiday kitty.

She's like calico from the front.. quite defined splotches of colour.. but her back is clearly tortie... "tortico" as some forumer said in another thread.. but it's not a real term for pattern me thinks.

Anyone else got some grey kitties to post? Please do :)

@elise1030  I LOVE that pic of your little Theodore.  The editing you did makes the pic look amazing.

@Cassiopea  Your pic of Smokey is beautiful  She looks so sweet.

@bigperm20  You mentioned that blues look regal and I could agree more.  Even when mine are misbehaving or acting crazy, they have this look to them as though they are allowed to do this and how could i have the nerve to disciplin them.  And yes, house cleaning at my house is never fun.  It seems like I can never pick up all the hair my two long hairs leave behind!

Xena is looking well and truly spoiled there @Nebula  , and no wonder, she looks adorable.  Quite the little princess flaking out on her fleecy throw.

mservant mservant I love seeing pictures of Mouse. He looks so cheeky, I love that he is a mixture of RB characteristics and his own special features too :)

Bugsy looks so happy under those covers and they are the perfect colours to show off his fur too.

Haa haa, does Mouse sleep under covers?  Yes, but not my bed covers as they are only for playing with and killing.
My blue boy ends up in time out almost every time he helps me make the bed....
It takes about half an hour to make a bed when he's involved, he has been known to climb in to the pillow cases and the duvet cover as well as destroying the sheets.   Once the bed is made he usually sleeps on or under the nice fresh pillow cases so when I go to bed he's made a nice warm dent for my head.

As for string eating - all ribbon and string has to be safely stashed in cupboards and drawers he can't break in to. He'll even sneak chunks when playing with toys supervised if he can the little monster.  He's very good at steeling ribbon and stuff off the table beside me if I'm wrapping presents:  he races off to the other end of the apartment to try and eat it before I catch him. Thankfully the one time he succeeded he chewed the ribbon in to short pieces and all it did was give him a sore belly for a few hours.  Usually his escapades end up with a vet visit.

I suspect gray cats look regal and serene as a defence to hide how mischievous they are, the gray gene is the mischief maker gene.

Hilarious picture - talk about caught in the act and looking guilty!  LoL

The photos of the kittens are adorable, esp the second and fourth ones.

What a beautiful momma cat and beautiful kittens.  When did she have her litter?  I would love to know more of her / their story.

Thank you for your compliments!  Nina and her babies came to me by way of a rural shelter in the Northern Virginia area.  It's likely she got pregnant in her first heat, as she is one year old and her babies were born approximately 5-6 months ago.  I wish I could have adopted one of her litter to keep Nina company, but by the time I showed up wanting a kitty, Nina was the only one available.  I am glad they have all found loving homes.  As far as Nina is concerned, she is a sweet cat.  I have not once observed anything close to aggression.  She is not picky at all, she loves her chirping bird toys and scratch posts.  She is especially fond of sleeping by the windows.  She is not a lapcat, but she loves being near either my husband or me. I thought she was a little on the shy side, but it seems it was just her settling into her new home.  We had some family over and she did not hide, and even allowed some people to pet and brush her.  Yay!

What a hard early life Nina must have had, having kittens at such a young age.  I hope the rest of her life is spent with you in a loving and caring home where she feels relaxed enough to brave visitors and play with her toys in between snoozing in the sunshine of your windows.  She sounds like the perfect gray cat to me, sweet and gentle, and very cute.
