the vet suggested  a female and young cat because Bro is almost 9 and male neutered

and he felt after his losing his brother Peebo...recently that a young female might

be better to adjust to her in the home.

Bro likes her and watches her like a grandfather cat!

In age he is a grandfathers age .LOL

how does that calculate in cats..give me the chart

for determining cats age to human years..

Lily is 7 months old so how old is she in human years?

Bro is almost 9 years old...?

Thanks

Thanks! A handsome, handfull is what he is. He was a stray at 5 weeks old, started fading and actually came out of it, went to emergency foster needing round the clock care and just made it back into the shelter for surgery at 9 weeks. Now he thinks he owns the world (he does) and so, he has some learning to do when it comes to how to play with people LOL. No...my hands are not little kittens you can bite on! :)

Crazy for Strays

I am laughing so hard so I was about right on our cats ages..in regards to humans..

Bro is the grandfather and Lily is  a toddler child ..LOL

How do I give pur praise on the forum...

I just do not know how  I am not being

greedy..or selfish..I just do not know if

we can give it or how

thanks for mine from everyone !

I have a funny one today to share on Lily

my avatar cat 6 months old..just  got

She went in the bathroom today when I was putting on some lipstick

and she jumped up on the back of the toilet and I had my electronic

handsoap to wash hands with that you just pass your finger under it

and the soap comes out..touch free

I use fragrance free soaps, for laundry, hands and dishwashing

and also to bathe...husband and I have multiple chemical sensitivity illness

so no cleaning chemicals and no fragrances in our home or on us..all scent free or we get severe headaches

dizziness, nausea, chest tightness...all at one time...

I LOVE the dispenser  and have had it for 3 years...from Bed Bath and Beyond.

Well she got under it and got fragrance free hand soap liquid on her and what a job

to get that off her...lots of water and paper towells

she would not allow me to put her in the sink..

so that is one more item to move..

I seem to be

moving the entire house and running out of space

to hide things from her..

SheriT , Bro and Lily

Yep, definitely!

I fostered a kitten that was around 4-6 months old. I have a senior cat who's around 14-15 years old. I nicknamed my senior, "Grandpa Spottie." In cat years, he would be in his 70's.

Ooooh, loving our new arrival @KKoerner  .

He's handsome for sure. He looks like trouble too, a certain glint in the eye.
Can't wait to hear what you decide to call him.

@SheriT    I hate to think how unimpressed Lily was with her soap escapade.   I remember life with young Mouse all too well:  my house was devoid of all ornamentation and 'stuff' that he could entangle himself in.  It was about 18 months before I started to put some stuff back - I have some beautiful antique flying ducks that go on the wall in my spare room but they are still wrapped up in a cupboard because he'd probably still jump up at them.

Oh yes, this nipper definitely has the 'blue daemon' gene - you can see it in his facial expression, posture, and pretty much every whisker and scruffed up strand of fur.
    Excellent choice of kitten.
Can't wait to hear what this little guy gets up to, and what he looks like as he matures.   I wonder if he will look as smart and sophisticated as Tiger?
  You never know.

Those would have been clean blankets before the fur got on them would they?
Tiger looks very serious there, I don't think I would have attempted to remove him from his spot with a look like that.   Mouse loves it when he can steel in to my linen cupboard: it is packed full but he always seems to find some little gap somewhere, even if it means pushing something out on to the floor.
What is it with clean linen?

Haha! I have a large sealed container that most of our linens go in. Those were just a couple of spare blankets and since they were sitting in his territory he was welcome to them.

I've noticed that he doesn't shed that much though.

Mine are the same.
Have you noticed that white cats will always paw at the top layers of linen until they find something dark to lie on and black cats always have to lie on something white? They go for maximum impact when they're shedding all over your clean laundry.
