Love them pics of mouse, cant believe they get into these spaces.
Bella cant even get onto the windowsill to look out the window without climbing up the sofa first. Her legs are short and fat.

Believe me, Mouse only gets in them by jumping / scrambling up my body....
He waits for me to stand in some spot that will give him access to where he longs to be and then he stealth bombs me from behind and the next thing I know he's up and over in to where ever.  Usually places I'd rather he didn't get to (like the linen cupboard which was decidedly tidier before he got in there....).

I'm thrilled that Tiger is showing more interest in different places and is climbing up high in the house. When he used to be an indoor/outdoor kitty, he loved climbing trees and on top of roofs. Maybe climbing up into high places in closets helps him pretend that he's climbing trees.

I take Mouse climbing up, and in to small dark spaces, as his natural instinct to lurk and survey his territory with the best views he can.  Also to check out and make sure there aren't any invaders in there waiting to catch him unaware.  he hates being shut out of spaces and gets really excited when he sees me opening up cupboards that are usually closed.

One thing he would really like would be to get up on to the high shelf that runs over the top of all the cupboards in my hall (you can see a bit of it with the first picture of him in the closet).   No way I want him up there though because a) I know he couldn't get down safely on his own, and b) there's a high chance he would knock the piles of 'stuff' down that I stash up there and my things would either end up broken or landing on me and breaking me instead.  Not good.

Nice den!    I made a 'castle' for Mouse out of 4 boxes all joined together and holes cut through but he refuses to set paw in there beyond one box that's totally open sided.  What a waste of time.   Actually I swear the look on his face when he watched me making it was 'Mum!   What are you doing?!  You're ruining my boxes'.   I fear I'm going to give in and dismantle it soon.  It's been in the sitting room 4 weeks and driving me nuts.

@Crazy4Strays   Tiger is real honey, he looks so sweet and handsome.   What was he waiting for his human servant to do in those latest pictures?

In the last picture, he definitely wanted me to open the door and let him outside.

Ever since you suggested that he was probably at least part Russian Blue, my husband addresses him as, "My Russian Friend," a lot.

Looks more like 'when's my food going to arrive human.  Isn't it up there where my nose is pointing?'

Heheh, 'Moi droog Rooski' .   It has a certain ring to it, but Tiger's probably thinking he should be addressed more as 'Yego svetloist'   (His Lordship / Grace).
(If there are any Russian speakers reading here please feel free to correct me as I'm relying on Google Translate to check my basic Russian language knowledge).

Btw - we keep that duvet in that chair just for him. Spoilt? Never! :lol3:[/quote]

But none of our cats are spoilt :-)

It looks like you and Corrie got on very well there @Stewball  .
Her fur looks lovely and thick, I'm betting she was wonderful to have snuggling in to you.

Spoilt?  One of our kitties?   Never.  Not possible.   Now, look at poor Shadow there having to hold up his heavy head with his paw
,   I think me might be expecting a human servant to step in and support his weary neck there.
All that squeezing in to a little round spot just to catch a few warm rays of sunshine.  He knows how to make his fur look good too, so everyone will notice how thick and soft it is.

She was. I loved her little cold and wet nose on mine. Later she breathed down my ear.l
