Post pictures of your precious Blue / Gray / Maltese cats here!

I have been enjoying looking at what seems to be a growing number of gray / blue cats here on TCS, whether they have a specific pedigree such as British or Russian Blue, or Korat, or have the all gray or mostly gray colouring known as Maltese.

I have enjoyed viewing threads for black cats, white cats, tuxedo cats and calicos, and patiently looked out  for one just for the blue / gray cats that are so special to me. I feel they deserve a photo thread all of their own so here it is.  :D

I would love to see pictures of all the other blue / gray cats we TCS members devote our lives to so please share your photos here.  please.gif

To start it off here is yet another picture of Mouse....  :heart4:

Well you know I'm going to join in, MServant... :D

Here are my two in a very rare 'togetherness' shot:

This is easy.  Here is my precious Toogie and his companion, Angel:

He was a semi-long haired cat.  1977-1995

This picture is not real good, but it is the only one of him. His name was Smoke. He was our pet a long time ago.

Here are my two blues/greys. Sadly both have passed on to the RB at ages 18 years and 17 years of age respectively. Both are rescues.

Sphinx

My sweet angel boy Sphinx.

Dancing Bear

Dancing Bear - He was one of our 3 fosters(along with Fang and Drooler) but has since crossed over to the RB in late November 2011 from Diabetes. He was about 17 years. Very busy, vocal and top male (He always respected Kuce).

Oh gee, yep, you'd be knowing I'd be posting in this thread too!  Here are my two Korats.  Kato, my big boy, is 3.5yrs, and Ava, my little girl, is 1 yr.  They look very sweet and placid - but that's because sleep/tired time is the only time when the camera can catch them!  Most of the time they are up, they are whirling dervishes, playing chasey, wrestling, begging for human plays, or out on their daily walk.  The smartest cats I've ever known (sometimes too smart!!).  Korats eyes go green anytime form 2-4yrs; you can see the most recent photo (1st), Kato is starting to show a lovely green.

Thank you everyone that has posted so far!  I am so excited seeing these lovely blue cats all together. :D

I would love to comment on each one, but I would go on and on and on (and you know I can) so I won't.  Each and every one is stunning and I am looking forward to seeing even more!

I would like to reassure people that Mouse is sitting in the washing machine and NOT a dryer, and he is known for climbing in to any dark / small space possible and loves to tangle himself in the laundry pile so I do check - but he is now far too big and heavy to get missed :-D   This wasn't always the case - he started at a fairly young age (I only got him at 4 1/2 months).

Rangie32,  this is a most enviable bunch of blue / gray cats.    I hope they all get along with each other and those youngsters give Isaac and Levi the respect they are due! Isaac and Levi look fantastic. :D

Here's my Sascha, he looked sort of like a Russian Blue but was just a cat I adopted from the Irvine shelter when he was about 2. He passed away after 14 years having moved to Washington State and back to California. He was such a sweetheart and after almost 3 years I still miss him and sometimes call

another cat by his name

Hi everyone! Apparently I have a Maltese cat - I didn't even know his coloring had a name until today. Here are a few photos of my 'Prince' Pangur.

Plays well with the 'skin' kiddos!

*

He lies on his back and rests/sleeps a lot. It is adorable.

Is your prince Pangur sleeping in this photo? It looks like a kitchen shelf or something, like he'll just roll off! :lol3:

Pangur is lovely, AND he's named after one of my favourite poems.

Haha, he wasn't quite asleep in that photo.... but yes, he does sleep there. And yes, he has fallen off a couple of times. Luckily the couch is right below the bar and the kitchen counter is on the other side so he doesn't have far to go.

Here is a photo of Pangur when we was dead asleep.

Because he has teeth that stick out of his mouth on his right side he snores and it is cute as can be! (Not loud, but I have never heard a cat snore before so I love it.)

One of my favorite poems too! (Obviously...) Nevermind that he isn't white..... shhhh..... lol!

Wait until he gets to be an old pensioner. :lol3:  One of my girls started to snore terribly once she got to about 19!  It was quite sweet other than when she was laying next to me on my pillow at night. :D
