Despite the cold temps and snow, one of the local ice cream shops opened for the season this week. They make some of the best ice cream I have ever had.
So let's talk ice cream. Do you like it? Do you prefer soft serve or the traditional hard ice cream? Favorite flavors? Dish or cone? Waffle or sugar? Toppings?
I prefer the traditional hard ice cream, with either a vanilla or a peanut butter base. I love peanut butter ice cream, but I also really like cookies and cream, etc. The last few times I went to this particular place, I got "Cranberry Bog" ice cream, which was a vanilla base with chocolate chips, nuts and cranberries. Definitely not my norm, but it was good. I really don't get fruit flavors usually.
I normally get a dish, but I do like a homemade waffle cone.
