Thank you to my sweet Chester.

Well unfortunately my sweet little Chester crossed the bridge on March 11th.

We fought as hard as we could but he lost his battle against FIP. This was so terrible as I never had heard of this illness until a few weeks ago. This has been so tough losing my girl in December and now my new baby had to leave me too.

I just want Chester to know that although you were not with me long you were loved and cared for. I had so many plans for you and never dreamed we would part so soon. My heart aches that I will never see you full grown. You were such a well behaved little boy and gave the sweetest nose kisses. I miss your fluffy cloud of a tail and your soft meow.

Thank you Chester for teaching me it's okay to love another cat and helping me heal. You are gone but not forgotten.

I'm so, so sorry for your loss, @RensTwin. Chester was just too young. You had him in your life only a short while, but he showed you so much love. It doesn't take long to for them to win our hearts. FIP is terrible and I'm so sorry you had to go through this so soon after losing your girl Vegas. It has been a tragic turn of events in your household, and I offer my heartfelt sympathies for both your losses.

So sorry to hear of your loss. As well as that of your little girl in December. After your grieving period I hope you consider sharing your life with new companions soon, it surely helped me in my grieving of my precious babies that crossed the rainbow bridge. I love telling the newbies of their predecessors. My heart goes out to you.

I'm so sorry about your loss. FIP is horrible. Chester knew what it was like to be loved, but his life was far too short. You should have had years and years together.

I'm so sorry about the loss of both your loved ones in such a short time. Chester needed your love to help him with his illness, I'm sure he loved you very much in return. Don't let it scare you into not accepting another little soul into your heart, there are so many in need of love out there and it would honor the memories of your babies.The love they give us is a treasure that will live on forever in our hearts. Bless you for caring so much that it hurts this much, you are an angel on earth. Please know we all understand and care very much what you are going through, try to take care of yourself and be patient, grieving takes a long time to progress to a state of happy memories instead of tears.  Condolences on losing your adorable Chester!  I lost 2 former feral kittens to FIP in December & August, respectively.  I am glad that although brief, your time with Chester was filled with precious times to treasure always. What a blessed boy he was and someday you two will be reunited again and on that day, it will be he who will be in the welcoming committee that greets you Home.
