As some of you know an orange kitty came here a couple of months or so ago.(not the rescue kitty I posted about)
When he first came here he wanted to fight with my neutered male,my spayed female, and my neighbor's neutered male(which has adopted me.LOL.)that are outside. He got a little better with my cats, but still insisted on fighting with the neighbor's white kitty.I already doctored neighbor's cat for an abcess caused by the orange kitty.A few weeks ago I got him neutered.I kept him in my son's room and when I was in bed he stayed in a large pet carrier.
Well,I tried to go ahead and put him back outside last week and he was out for about an hour and I heard fighting.I went outside and didn't see anything, then I looked in my driveway and here come the orange kitty walking back up here with a huge piece of white fur sticking out of his mouth.
I scooped him up and back into the bedroom he went.
The neighbor's cat finally came back later and he had a lump on his tail from this cat.
I think the reason he hates this cat is because it runs from him.My 2 outside don't.

I am just so frustrated about this.He is a beautiful kitty.Weighs over 14 pounds and it is muscle, not fat.I had just planned on putting him back outside and letting him stay here, but that obviously isn't going to work.I am trying to find him a home, but I am so picky that I don't know when I will find him a good home.He will most likely have to be an only cat because of his attitude.I need to get him a home because it's not fair to him to have to stay in one room all the time.(yes,I do go in and play with him and stuff and so does my son)

I am just a little upset over this whole thing and needed to whine a little.

I'm not sure.I must have missed that thread.
If it would help him then I would be willing to try it for a while.I just don't know if I would want to medicate him for the rest of his life for this if I could find him a good indoor home with him as the only kitty.
He has the typical "tom cat" attitude and sadly the neuter didn't help.

I just have to tell you - That "it's meow or never" video is the saddest thing I've ever seen. I'm sitting here just bawling... I wish I could save them all... alright, well best of luck with your tomcat - I wish I could help, But i've never had outside cats... sorry. Thanks for the video though. That was truly touching.

Well,he's not too much of a kitten.He's a 14 pound cat.

But anyway,I've still been keeping him in my son's bedroom because I have nothing else to do with him.
I have told several people about him and told them to ask around.
I am just a little hesitant on putting an ad in the paper, but guess I may have too if I don't have any luck pretty soon, because I hate keeping him in one room all the time.
He is just the type of cat that doesn't like other cats.I wish he would get over this and he could stay here.
Hopefully I will find him a home soon and thanks for asking about him.

Yeah I can't hardly listen to that song on the radio anymore now.
I have seen the video several times and I bawl everytime I watch it.

Can you give him a little more time? Perhaps the testosterone has not yet cleared from his body. Once it is gone, he will mellow considerably.

Click here to read about a cat of mine who was behaving in the same way. I was at my whit's end with him and how aggressive he was. Now, he is an angel who loves on all of the other cats. It just took a while longer for him to mellow after neutering than it has for my other wild boys.

Not yet.I am trying to find someone I know or someone a trusted friend knows right now.I am so picky.
We have adopt-a-thons once a month and I could take him to that, but I am just uneasy about adopting him out like that.
Which what I may do is take him to the adopt-a-thon and just tell the people that he IS up for adoption, but I will bring him to them so I can do a home inspection and if they have a problem with that, then oh well, they don't need him anyway.
Plus if I do take him I will take my own applications and let everyone that applies know about the home visit and I will pick the best applications and do home visits and go from there.

Don't worry,I'm not gonna give him to just anyone.
Read above post.
I will keep him as long as I need to,and if he calms down he can go back out and stay here, but if I find the perfect home for him I will let them adopt him, even if he is calmed down.
I am hoping that it is just taking a little longer.

I am on my way to check out your post.

**Update**

Well,a couple of weeks ago we had an adopt-a-thon for some shelter animals.A lady came in looking at our cats and asking questions. After she learned about all the cats she mentioned she was looking for a barn cat.Well, the one's that we had there are all VERY loving cats and they won't allow them to be outside.

I asked her where she lived and got lots of info from her.I told her I had a cat that may be good for her.I told her about him and she said she wanted him.I did charge an adoption fee to cover shots and the neuter.
He has been with her for two weeks and he is doing great.I have talked to her twice since she has had him and she is very happy with him.He does come to her house and stays on her porch some and he rubs on her all the time.
I think he is a lot happier now that he is able to be back outside. He wanted back out soooo bad when he was here, but he liked to fight too much. She has no other cats outside so he is content being the only cat.He has dogs, goats, and chickens to play with now.LOL.
Even though he is kept outside I do think that's what he is happier with.

There's no place like home
That is such good news! I too had to put a semi-socialized feral back outside (many years ago) who couldn't fully make the adjustment to indoor life. She loves it there and won't even come in when it gets cold in the winter.
