I just got a job overseas and I can't take my cat with me.  He has a heart murmur and the vet won't clear him for the 14 hour plane ride.  I am willing to pay someone to take him.  I have attached his picture.  He is two years old and is used to kids, as I have a 7 year old son.  He is also an indoor cat.  Thanks in advance for help or suggestions.

Hi Withinpeace.

So sorry to hear that you have to move and leave your cat behind. It would help if you could let us know which country and city you live in, as this is an international site.

Maybe someone who lives closer to you could suggest some shelters or organisations that will help with re-homing him.

Good luck, he looks like a beautiful boy.

Also, if you are on Facebook there's an organization called RescueMe.org.  You can place a free ad there.  Your cat looks like a Maine Coon mix, so if I were you I would list him under that breed.  Also, in terms of transportation, there is another Facebook group called the Underground Railroad Rescued Kitty Network, and if you choose someone to adopt your cat and they do not live near you, the adoptive person can join the group if they don't already belong and arrange to set up a "Love Train" for transport of your cat to them.  It works like a relay, all volunteers, each person driving about a 1 hour leg and meeting up with the next person, until the cat gets all the way to its new home.  Go check them out.

I tried to copy this photo from Facebook and got part of it.    Here's what it said:
