Some pauses for hours even days, are quite common.  As long as mom is OK, no visible labor, panting nor other difficulties,  you can wait and see - although do observe of course.

Its "just" if you notice long fruitless labor, or other difficulties, contact your vet asap.   - With following kittens, active labor over 30 min is to see as long...

Daisy had hers well spaced put we had, 2pm, 6.30pm, 11pm and then 1.15am, not sure if she has another one or 2 left to deliver as well but is calm and happy and eating so we're doing to wait and see
