Does anyone know of a really good lint roller brand for removing cat hair? My little Siamese mix cat's mostly white fur seems to be permanently attached to my clothes, especially my black items. I have tried every lint roller I can find, including an "as seen on tv" one that is supposed to pick up everything, but I never seem to get it all. Is there another solution that I can try?

I use the lint rollers with the paper sheets you tear off. I find they work well but you need to tear the sheets off regularly- as in lots of sheets for a garment. You won't see the white fur on the white sticky tape and it seems that after you've picked up a few cat hairs then it loses it's ability to pick up more.

Yep, I've tried those too. It seems like I go through half a roll on one garment sometimes. Maybe yours is better than mine. The one I have now works horribly--can't remember the brand. The sheets are flimsy and not very sticky and it doesn't roll very well. I got it at Walmart. There was another one I had that was better but I lost it and can't remember it's brand name either. Ever....something?

I have a lint brush from over 60 years ago, passed down from my parents. My mother was a tailor and this is what they used to remove any hair, string, lint on clothing before they were sold. Works great! If you go to any dry cleaner who mades alterations to clothing or to an actual tailor an just ask them to see the brush they use to remove lint, they will tell you where you can buy it. You will never have to worry about cat hair again.

Thanks! I'll check it out. We have plenty of dry cleaners around here, and I know of at least two that make alterations. hadn't thought of that.

Boy...if I can't relate to this!!!

I wear black daily too...........

Here's my Simone.

I even bought what was called "the BEST lint roller ever" from Linens and Things, $15.00 but the tape was supposed to be super sticky.

NOT!!

I end up using the super wide clear tape from the hardware store. Right by the back door since de-furring myself down then walking through the house to the door will cover me in fine hairs that just float in the air, her fur being super fine.

Yeah, NO fun! Of course Spring means oh so much more too. Helps a little to brush constantly but still........

Wear grey, like I started to do years ago. I gave up on trying to keep dark colors clean. The brush that @blackcat416 uses is the next-best alternative, if you want to wear darker colors.
