Good morning and Happy TGIF!

Rick wanted to hit the mall last night as he wanted to buy two pairs of jeans. The last couple pairs of jeans that I bought have seen better days, too, so I decided to buy some new jeans, too. He bought two pairs of Lees and I went to JCP and bought two pairs of Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, both straight leg.

So let's talk about jeans today: Do you wear jeans? Blue jeans or other colors? What kind do you usually buy? Lees, Levis, Wranglers, other? Are they boot cut or straight leg? Dark blue, light blue?

Me, I'm a blue jeans girl. Not the deep, dark blue, but more of a stonewashed blue. I usually get straight legs or tapered, but I do have a couple pairs of boot cut, too. I don't like the real wide flared bottoms, though. And no spandex.....I hate spandex; all that does is loosen up and then sag. Ick I love Lee jeans. Actually I dearly love Lee mens jeans....they are heavier and they're a slimmer cut. And they don't have the dreaded (for me) spandex.

Rick looked at a pair of Arizona jeans (JCP) last night. When he picked them up and opened them out, they looked like they were about ten years old and worn every day without a wash. I said, "Um, no, you are not buying those jeans!" He said, "You know, I think I have jeans in the closet that look in better shape than these!"

I buy Lee jeans too, I agree, the mens fit better but I buy the womens when I want some 'bling' on the pockets. I started buying the boot cut again, I think the little bit of 'flare' balances you out and makes your bottom look better, those narrow hems make you look like an upside down pear, and your feet don't look quite as big. I like the stonewash too.

l buy any jeans that catch my eye. Back when l was skinny l liked the Seven jeans, now they look like kiddy clothes

l prefer washed out colours, l like the stretchy fit ones, and since l have a 33 inch inseam, flares and bootcuts look better on me.

Another Lee's fan here, though I've got three pairs of h.i.s. jeans, too. I live in washed-out (or medium blue) straight-legged, 5-pocket jeans. I have some white and black ones for "dressier" occasions.

I have a love/hate relationship with jeans.  I loved the flare cut when that was in style; it was the most flattering for my figure.  (Not a huge flair like a bell bottom.
)  Now my 2 pairs of jeans are both boot cut I think.  My newer pair are from Jennifer Lopez and a darker blue.  My older pair are a bit lighter and from ANA.  I have a really hard time finding jeans I like.  I pretty much refuse to shop for them when I have someone tagging along.  I need to concentrate and have patience.

I only wear jeans if I go out somewhere. They aren't my favourite thing to wear. The one pair I currently own is from Walmart. I love my maternity jeans though, they are really comfortable.

I wear jeans 365 days a year.  The only times I have anything else on are weddings, funerals, and sleeping.  Love the boot cut, love a bit of stretch, and most of mine come from Walmart.   I really don't like the super stonewashed look, I prefer medium to dark blue.  I wear a pair until they are literally falling apart, then I think to myself "I should put them up and wear them to paint/garden/etc"   I hate throwing a pair away.  I suppose I should 'fess up----my black dress pants are actually black jeans.
And nope, no jeans shorts, just full length barely scraping the ground jeans.

I love jeans. I don't however like shopping for them. I'll take anything that fits my waist without having a huge gap around my behind. However, I was brought up on second hand clothing and I kinda miss those already broken in jeans. Lol I hate breaking in new jeans and new shoes. Ruh!

I wear Gloria Vanderbuilt jeans- blue. it's the only jeans that does not give me a muffin top!

I don't like colored jeans. I am almost never in any other pants other than jeans.. rarely khaki's if work calls for it, but that's like once a year

I'm going to have to check out Walmart when I have an extra dollar or two...or when these jeans fall completely apart.

:lol3: Love this question. I have been accused of wearing "mom" jeans for quite some time. You know, the jeans that go waist high, too short in length and show your white socks. :flail:

I love jeans and like Libby, wear them all year long. I would wear them to a wedding if I could. I love jeans but only buy jeans that are on a blowout sale. So I am not picky, I guess. Whatever is on sale and whatever looks good from behind ;) - boot cut, bell, or skinny - doesn't matter to me. AND the other requirement other than the sale price is that they don't look like a pair of "mom" jeans. :lol2: But - neither wanting granny jeans either. :D You know, the jeans that are SO baggy, old and saggy that they are falling off and usually brown in color. Guess I am in a silly mood. :bigwink:

Yes I wear jeans! Mostly blue, but I have worn black too. My favourites are AG/Adriano Goldschmeid and Citizens of Humanity, as I can find the rejects and irregulars on sale at Marshalls. There is no way I could afford full price on those

Anyway, I like skinnies the best (never ever ever straight leg, it must be skinny or big flare), in either deepest navy blue or rough dark blue with fading and distressing. Howeverrrrr, I do love the one CoH pair I have in a paisley on blue print.

Fun question, I love seeing the other answers!

For me, some days it's a "jeans day" and some days it's not - depends on the weather and how I'm feeling.
I wear Lee's medium-blue boot cut jeans and some straight legs. Not so much a fan of skinny jeans.

On my own time, I only wear jeans (except in the heat of summer---then I wear khaki shorts because I can't find denim shorts I like). I like Levi's usually but if another brand fits well I won't quibble. I need at least a slight flare because I have big thighs so they need to be balanced. I prefer a medium blue, somewhat worn/broken-in looking but not too light and not pre-ruined. I found a Levi's model I really like a few years ago, but now they changed their models . And my jeans are getting ratty and I can't find a model I like :(. I should have bought like 10 pairs.

I love jeans, all kinds. Right now I'm on a Levi's kick and I want to attempt to do the whole "wear till they look worn and distressed " look but it seems very complicated. I really like some of the Abercrombie jeans but lately my favorites have been the Ralph Lauren Denim and Supply line. I haven't liked jeans that much in a long time. BUCKLE has a brand Rock Revival that I like a lot too

I don't wear jeans. Trousers yes but I feel I'm too fat for jeans. Most unappealing.

i always get the straight-legged jeans and now it's usually Lee or Gloria Vanderbuilt. i used to always buy the Levi 501 for women but i haven't been able to find them anywhere, in-store or on-line. they used to last forever

Straight legs for me. I buy the Lee brand, relaxed fit.. I also like the Ruby Road brand from Belk. I have jeans in dark blue, black, brown, tan, beige, forest green, lavender, plum, dark purple, pink. white, and probably more. I love my jeans. I especially like them now that I have a flatter tummy because of the gluten free diet. Many of them I can put them on and take them off without unzipping. :lol3: That is a really nice feature in the dressing room trying on more clothes.
