She gave birth sometime between 4am and 7am, so within 3 hours! Woke up to happy Mummy cat purrs from under the bed, and these little treasures all born, cleaned, fed and snuggled up together in Gobbolinos favourite box! When is your girl due?
That is how to do it! :) we have no clue, well maybe a little, she has only been here 3 weeks...abandoned and found our place. We felt the kittens moving about two weeks ago, now you can really feel them...kicking hard...maybe another 10-14 days? She is so furry it is hard to see her teats but you can feel them...hoping for a quick safe delivery! :) yours did a great job!

Oh my word just too too cute!
I know! I'm 37 years old, but I feel like a kid at Christmas everytime I look at them! I've already got five cats, and I think I'm going to have to keep all these little ones too!! We've already given them temporary names based on their looks to help with the weighing notes...Rebel Junior, Captain Jack, Mr Perfect,.and Tabs....poor kittens, lol :D

She did, I drove myself insane in the last two weeks of Gobbolino's pregnancy, looking for signs, thinking every night would be the one...all I can say is the babies quietened down on the day she had them, she was ravenous in the morning, and drank lots too, and miaowed at me, which she never does. I have a feeling for her now that is unique and special, because I'm just amazed by her. I'm loving all the new kitties on here, hopefully they'll all get super duper homes :)

I think I'll be the same, I obviously never planned to have newborn kittens but I'm actually really happy Daisy chose us as it will be an amazing thing to experience, I'd originally said to the kids we weren't naming them as they won't be ours and we can't get attached but it was my 5 year old that pointed out they need names so we know who's who and who we're talking about, wise words lol so could be interesting to see what they come up with, one of the kittens is going to my sons friend so once he chooses he can give that one its name but the rest we'll just have to name temporarily lol (then watch me try and give them up after 8- 10 weeks :slant: )

It's sad that I'm talking to her like a human isn't it, come on Daisy another push, that's a girl we can see some tail now lol.
She'd been acting odd since early morning, by 12 I knew for sure it was labour (its 1.15 now) and we've had a bulging sack for about 20-25 mins so any time now for. First kitten

How exciting!! I missed Gobbi's labour because she was so quiet, and it was between 4 and 7am, I wish I'd seen it. I'm sure you talking to her, and just being there is helping her a great deal. It's supposed to be a magical experience...can't wait to hear news!

Daisy was quite vocal when pushing so the would have been no missing it, she insisted I had a hand on her the whole time, if I tried to take my hand away she'd grab on with her claws lol, she seems quite in love with her first baby :-)

Oh, well done Daisy! And congrats Daisys Mummy! She must adore you to want you with her, so sweet. What colour is the new one?...do you know how many she's carrying? Did she do all the placenta and umbilical cord stuff herself? Sorry about the thousand questions!!

At a guess I'd say she's going to have 5-6 because she was so huge, this one is black and white, she ate the placenta and chewed the cord off herself. It hi k she's just started getting contractions again and is licking her privates so number 2 shouldn't be too long now

Kittens are doing really well, all around 150g now, so they've put on half their birth weight already. I thought they were panting, they had their mouths open making a sss sss sss noise, so rang the Vets....apparently, they're hissing...how cute is that?!!
