My 10 yr old cat has a large fluid filled bump/cist in his right ear. He doesn't seem to be in pain but after iching it blood and puss comes out. Could this be a tumor? Also he has been sneezing out a lot of mucus, is there anything I can do?

I would greatly appreciate any opinions.

Thanks

Please please take him to the vet as soon as possible. That looks so sore and is obviously bothering him because of the itching.

Cysts, boils, abscess can be caused by bites/cuts/scratches and need medical attention (my cat had one drained after a bite) because if left alone can cause poisoning of the blood. If it is a tumor, it needs medical attention. I really think it's sensible to go to the vet instead of trying to guess what is wrong here. At the very least, it will stop the bleeding & puss and make your cat more comfortable.

Good luck!

I forgot to say, cat's are very good at hiding pain, it's what they do. So even tho she may be showing no signs, it could still be that it's painful. I can't see how it wouldn't be tbh.
