Are you giving away the cat, or is it someone else's? I would never recommend giving away any kittens or cats for free, ever. There are bad people out there looking for free kitties all the time for ill intentions.
A better option would be to ask for a contract of some sort. Always ask a small fee for the cats - even $35 - $50 - it's one of the best ways to determine if the potential adopter is going to be committed to pay for the cat's food, litter box, toys, vet bills. If someone is not willing to pay for the cats, then they are not going to be a good home.
