Geepers Pam. This is not helping me!  My husband had a sick day on Monday and since it was snowing I baked.  Now several times a day when I go into the refigerator my DD asks if I'm making cookies.  I'm not!  But you guys are tempting me!!

And I love snickerdoodles!!

Oh, I haven't had good homemade snickerdoodles in ages! (I'm too lazy to bake..) Are there seconds?

There are even thirds!
I always have to make a double batch as they are dear Richard's favorite cookie. He was munching down as quickly as I was taking them off the pans. I told him if he didn't stop eating them, he wasn't going to have any to take with him to Oregon. (They are my niece's favorite cookie as well and I know she's coming home this weekend, so I tucked some way back in the freezer where I don't think Rick can find them. Or they'll be gone.)

I love snickerdoodles and haven't had good ones in ages.  I have tried some store bought ones and I wouldn't even classify them as snickerdoodles.  There is a lady in this area that makes wedding cakes in her home and one of her flavor choices is snickerdoodle.  If if truly tastes like snickerdoodles that would be really good.

I have a recipe for a snickerdoodle cake. It does have a good flavor, but it doesn't really remind us of a snickerdoodle. It does have all the cinnamon-sugar goodness though. It's a good cake. Let me know if you're interested and I can share the recipe.

I also have a recipe for peanut butter snickerdoodles. They're pretty good. Again, not a genuine snickerdoodle, but a good cookie. Rick likes them (although there's not many cookies that he doesn't like, except for any with coconut).
