Okay, so yesterday we got our Storm spayed, we had taken her to our local SPCA in Central Florida. We had to get her Rabies and FVRCP-CV Vaccine on top of her surgery. She had been taken in at 7:30 and i went to pick her up at 4pm, i had her home by 4:30. This was yesterday night. The whole night she had the typical groggy, head bobbing problems, but she was very lethargic and she refused to eat at the deadline of 7pm that they gave us. by 3 in the morning she ate some treats but that was it. When I woke up today she seemed like she was doing much better, her appetite was somewhat back but i had yet to see her drink. after running some errands, she was back to being very lethargic. from time to time she will pop up, rub against me, and eat some treats, but soon after she will go back to laying down and seeming almost lifeless. Today alone she had a little bit of Wiskas' kitten/cat milk, and maybe a 1/4 cup of wiska's temptation treats, along with a little bit of wet food she decided to eat, so her appetite is somewhat there, but she has spent the majority of the time seeming almost lifeless. We have force fed her some water because she has refused to drink all day, i have been watching her like a hawk all day in worry. Was the Vaccines on top of the surgery too much?

I may be over reacting but our last cat we had for 21 days from the SPCA and we had to put her down after surgery that she had before getting her because she had so many problems that came from it and it lead to liver failure ontop of other things, so i may be a worried parent, but she doesnt seem normal.

It has been about 30 hours since i picked her up out of surgery. These pictures are of her when she is active, not when she is lethargic.

Yes, Ideally vaccinations should not be given at the same time as a surgery, it overloads their poor systems.  Was your cat sent home with any type of pain medication?  A lot of her symptoms sound like she is in pain.  Can you call and get some from the place you had her spayed?  That may help.  Make sure she eats a normal amount every day otherwise she is at risk for Fatty Liver disease.

Yes, she was given buprenotphine, which they said was supposed to last 3 day as it was sustained relief, but I feel she should have been sent home with something..i am definately making sure she ratings as our other cat suffered through liver failure from fatty liver disease. She just seems to be out of it and it's tearing me up

I work in the vet field and have never heard of sustained relief Buprenorphine....it lasts 6-8 hours MAX.  I really think your cat is in pain.  Was pre-surgical bloodwork done on her to check liver and kidney functions?

Multiple vets that i had contacted before were going to do the vaccines at the same time, and no, bloodwork was not done for it was done at the local SPCA which basically is an in an out sort of deal. The vets i had contacted are highly recommended by the community and people i know have never had a problem with them, our last cat was taken there multiple times, but the price is much higher there for the surgery which is why we went to the SPCA, which do them daily so i didnt seem to have a problem with them.

Interesting about your kitty getting the SR, I do know that Buprenorphine has about tripled in price recently, I know the 2 low cost spay places in our area won't use it cause it's more expensive.  Kudos to the one you use for using it, I just hope it really was the SR and they didn't just tell you that.  I know that things like Rimadyl or Metacam can be SR in cats and those are commonly given post op, they just aren't very safe for them..  Signs of pain in cats or dogs are: Not eating, not drinking, lethargic, depression, biting, meatloaf position.  So based on that your kitty does sound like it is in a bit of pain.  It might need something else like Tramadol or something for additional pain if it was given the SR Buprenorphine.
Never vaccinate your animal if they are sick or going under anesthesia. This makes their immune system have to do two things at once, get better from their illness or clear anesthesia and build immunity from the vaccine. It also can lead to a vaccine failure if their immune system can not mount a proper immune response against the vaccine because it is busy with other things. It is better to make a second visit in to the vet for the vaccine when your animal is well.
I do know most vets vaccinate at the same time, heck the vet I work for does and it makes me cringe all the time.  There are so many adverse vaccine reactions it's scary.

So here is an update, After a few days she started doing okay, started to get back to her normal self, but out of nowhere today, she started to vomit. The vomit is yellow. Her incision spot looks good, and feels good, nothing seems to be wrong there, but i am at a loss as to why she is starting to vomit....
