Hi all, I joined this site a bit ago for advice on a stray I took in when I realised she was pregnant but hadn't realised this forum was here so thought I best introduce myself now

Daisy has been living with us for almost 5 weeks now but had been visiting us and often sneaking in since December, she's heavily pregnant and due to give birth any time and by the size and feel of her I'm expecting at least 5 kittens though I'm certainly no expert

Lastly here's a few pics

Thank you, she's very sweet and very loving, great with the kids too, we already have 8 lizards so this now takes us up to a 9 pet family lol

Hi Mum2Daisy.  It is always nice to welcome a fellow UK member, and especially someone who has taken in a young pregnant mum and offered her a safe and warm place to have her kittens.  Take care with your lizards as my brief experience with a new mum and kittens was that mum was very keen to show her babes how to hunt and found anything and everything live of a suitable size to introduce her little ones to this art!

Poor little Daisy, she does look very round now: I hope she and her kittens are all well following the birthing and their early weeks go well.  She has the most beautiful markings on her face and looks so gentle and loving.  I hope you are finding all the advice and support you need here on TCS and look foward to news of how things go for your household over the next few weeks.

Yes the advice on the pregnant cats & kitten care forum has been great, she's never seen the leopard geckos as she's in my room at night when they came out and the bearded dragons are much to big for her to consider them prey, that said all are in tanks with doors she can't open (sliding glass ones that are quite heavy) so we should be fine but I'm home a lot all the time to keep an eye out once the kittens are out and about in the rest of the house
Thank you for the welcome

Hi, welcome to TCS!  She's a beautiful girl.  Bless you for taking her in; more kind people like you are needed in the world.
