I took her to the vet last week and he expressed her anal glands but said they were ok. Now today when she was sleeping I noticed this bright red bump it almost looks like a piece of balled up gum. Any ideas?? Pretty concerned. I just lost my 20 year old cat smokie a month ago I can't handle another one going :( thanks

Does it seem to bother her?  Is she licking at it?  Has she had troubles going to the bathroom?  I suppose it might be anal prolapse, depending on exactly where it is.  Perhaps you should take her back in to see the Vet

She's acting pretty normal. Her poops have been really thin and I noticed some discharge around her bottom

Were headed to the vet in an hour. She's leaking really bad. Hoping it's just anal glands but there's no smell

OMG Yes Pyometra does have discharge and if not quickly treated is often fatal! You did exactly the right thing by taking her in!  Congrats!

Oh my
.  Thank goodness you took her back in !    I had no idea she hadn't been spayed when you posed your original question.

for a quick recovery.
