Hi! I'm Estella, and I don't really like introductions, so I want to make one now before I have the chance to avoid it further. I'm the guardian of the lovely Lux, who has made an appearance in name on some of the threads here already. He is a 2.5 year old, black-/veerrry-dark-brown-with-some-lighter-brown-furred long-haired cat (after exhaustive Googling my guess is a Chantilly mix); I live in a basement apartment and do not own an SLR, so I do not have any photos that would do him justice. One day...one day. And he is my only kitty so far.
My interests aside from cats include yoga, holistic medicine, nutrition, the written word, fashion, philosophy, psychology, cooking...and lots more. Really getting more into science recently, particularly biology, when I was never a science person in high school. I like conversing better than just talking.
Always trying to cultivate balance in my life. And surround myself with a plethora of kitties.
