I just lost my cat shadow last Wednesday. She was 15 years old. Her sister Gracie has been losing weight. In last couple weeks down from 8.3. To 7 pounds and we've done all kinds of blood test. Not sure why she won't eat if she is sad about her sisiter. Nor I'm going to lose her as we'll. my vet said if she won't eat in couple days it is time for her. I'm so sad. That it will be

I'm so sorry about Shadow.  It's so hard to lose a beloved pet.  My thoughts are with you.

--I see you have a post in another forum about Gracie's condition.  Hopefully you can get some ideas about Gracie's condition from other members there.

I'm so very sorry about your loss of Shadow and pray Gracie will begin to eat while mourning her sister. You shared a wonderful love with them both for 15 years, it's so very hard to have to let one go. Your heart is broken, only time will help to lessen the pain. Shadow would not want you both to be so sad, please try to remember the love and the good times, don't dwell on her passing. Give Gracie extra love and attention, you both need to comfort one another. I'll keep all three of you in my thoughts and prayers, take care and 'hugs'. RIP beautiful Shadow!

My condolences on Shadow's passing - it's very tough to lose a pet cherished for so long - and :vibes::vibes::vibes: for Gracie.

RIP, Shadow.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
I haven't read your other thread, so I'm not sure if this has been suggested, but the vet once gave one of our cats a shot to stimulate his appetite.  (He wasn't eating well following an eardrum removal.)  IV fluids sometimes work wonders in animals just like in people.  My prayers will be with you for Gracie's recovery.

I'm so sorry for the loss of 2 cats in such a short amount of time!  I'm sending many warm thoughts during this difficult time.
