diarrhea fro weruva cat food?

Gave my 4mo kitten weruva paw lickin chicken for the first time today.  he loved it and kept asking for more.  i let him have half of the little can.  he was still hungry so i gave him a little more of his usual fancy feast kitten turkey.  about an hour after he had diarrhea.  went again about 4hrs later and had a few drops of diarrhea.  i assume this is because of new food.  probably all that gravy and too much of it.  i know i should've just gave him a few spoons at first...  how long until his diarrhea should stop?  he is acting normal and eating his regular food.  Thanks!

It's very possible that it's too rich for his system.  Try feeding him without it and see if the diarrhea stops.

 I've only seen Weruva reviews saying that their cats had constipation after eating it, but every cat is different. It may be because the serving you fed him was too large and/or because some of the ingredients are too rich, like stephanietx said. The problem with "overly rich" ingredients has also occurred in some cats with other cat food brands, such as Wellness. If you know that it's not from the Fancy Feast (i.e. you've fed it to him before with no problems), then maybe consider switching him back to that or feeding him another brand he's used to without any problems.
