one of my registered siamese cats has catitude, she doesnt much like other cats in her face or to be held in any way she does snuggle on her own terms with us or the other cats. would she be a bad mother since she can be snotty?

I don't know about her mothering skills---mommy hormones can be very powerful!---but temperment is genetic and environmental. She will probably raise her kittens to be like her, and even if she didn't raise them they would inherit some of her temperment genetically. Be sure it's something you want to pass on to future generations.

I think I agree with Willowy...

Having a field of good cats to choose from, Im not sure I would choose such a one  to be one of my breeding queens.  Unless she had some other extraordinary traits.

After all, most of purebreds arent used for breeding, most are going to be spayed.

IF you decide to let her be queen.  You do perhaps have access to some friendly male or other female, who can help her and be assistant mother?   such happens.

This way, you still cant help the genetics, but you can help them kittens in the environment learning...

Also, you can possibly correct this by making sure the Sire is a friendly one.   good psyche in the stud is more important than it appears, it goes down it too.

What is the breeder of this female saying?   How was her mom, her father?

Good luck!
