Cat needs a home ASAP

My name is Genna and I have a cat who is just under a year old. I need to find him a new home because I am going back to Australia and cannot keep him. He is a sweet and loving cat and just needs a good home to go to. This is a picture of him and he is just a cutie pie. I just want him to go to a nice home. He likes to cuddle and play and will greet you when you come home.

First of all, thank you for taking in this kitty and trying to find him a good home.

To be honest, the chances that you might find a home for him here (on TCS) are slim, because this is an international site and most of us already have the most cats we can afford to have/want. 

It would help if you gave us your general location - even though there may not be many members close to you, we might be able to give you better advice on where to advertise your kitty.

Maybe try putting up flyers in vets' offices near you or contacting any trusted friends near your location and asking them? 

Just a warning- if you do find a home for him (especially through sources such as Craigslist) - Please never give away this kitty for free. There are bad people out there looking for free kitties all the time for ill intentions.   An adoption application or contract of some sort is the best option. Always ask a small fee for the cats - even $35 - $50. If someone is not willing to pay for the cats, then they are not going to be a good home.   A home check might be a good option as well.

My Kitty needs a home, I found him Easter Sunday, the following Monday I had him neutered. I have 6 cats between rescues and adoption and was forced to retire in December. Financially I may have a problem caring for him. He is a CH Kitty, mild, about 5 months old.

I'm sorry you're not able to keep your kitty. I'm afraid the answer is the same as above. This is an international site and it's very unlikely that you'll find anyone to adopt him. If you let us know where you're located someone may be able to help you find local resources.

Could you share more info about where you are located, more about the kitty and maybe some pics? At five months he's still a kitten and should be more adoptable.
