Question of the Day: Sunday, March 2

Today is my son's 8th birthday and he has no presents to open because the only thing he asked for hasn't arrived yet. He's taking it okay, though, because he knows how much money he's got to spend.

Anyway, so my question for you, whether your birthday is near or not, if you could have one thing (talking about gifts, not world peace!), what would it be?

There's a dress I want for graduation. If I could get any gift about now, that would be it.

Right now I'd like a Maitland-Smith coffee table, a particular one that was made in the 80's and is pretty difficult to find! Other than that, I'd like a Ladybug steam cleaner, either one of those would be fine, thanks.

To answer your question, I would love a new computer. A laptop this time.

I'd like a wireless network laser printer. I don't have space in the living room for a printer, as silly as that sounds, not without invading my roommate's space. A wireless network one would allow me to put the printer in my bedroom, or the kitchen, and print stuffs from the living room. Getting tired of going to the library every time just to print something.

A new stove. Ours has been on its way out for a while, but I hate to replace it before it's unusable.

A new purse. I've been using my current one for several years and it's slowly coming apart - but I'm only buying a new one when it becomes completely unusable.

Thank you for the birthday wishes! He's had a great day. We went to a women's basketball game at UNC v. Duke. And we won!

I think I'm going to go along with Peaches on this one.....I'd love to have a nicer laptop. The one I have now is about 14 inches and I'd love to have something about 17 - 18 inches or so, something with a little more power than what I have now. I know the laptop I'd like to have....but I can't afford it right now.
